Get involved

There is more than one way to be useful.

Money is one way to support this work. Partnership, time, space, skills, and an introduction to the right person are all genuinely useful, and some of them are more useful than a cheque.

Ways in

Four doors, all of them open.

Become a community partner

Schools, churches, businesses, and community organizations working with young people in Travis and Williamson Counties. Partnership usually starts with one conversation about what your young people actually need.

Volunteer

Help with approved Foundation activities: events, materials, logistics, administration, and the unglamorous work that makes the rest possible. We will tell you honestly what is available right now rather than keeping your name on a list.

Tell us how you can help

Bring opportunities to your community

If you work with young people and see an opportunity they are missing out on, tell us. This is the most useful message we receive, and it does not commit you to anything.

What happens next

No form goes into a void.

  • You get a reply from a person, not an automated sequence.
  • We will tell you honestly whether we can help and when, including when the answer is no.
  • We never ask you for student names, records, or personal information about a young person.
  • Nothing you send is published anywhere without your written permission.

A note on young people's information

We never ask you for a student's name, records, disciplinary history, or any personal detail about an individual young person, and we would rather you did not send them.

Describe your group in general terms: roughly how many, roughly what ages, and what you are hoping to make possible. That is all we need to be useful.

Partnership & inquiry form

Tell us what you are working on.

One form for every kind of inquiry. Choose the type at the top and only the relevant questions matter — leave the rest blank if they do not apply to you.

Please do not include information that identifies an individual young person. We only need the shape of your group.

Email us at info@levelupfoundationtexas.org.

Optional.

Leave blank if you are writing as an individual.

Optional.

A few optional details about your group. They help us answer you properly, and an estimate is fine.

Optional.

What you are hoping to make possible, and anything that stands in the way. Please leave out anything that identifies an individual young person.

Fields marked with an asterisk are required. We reply to every message. If you have not heard from us within a week, please send a reminder — it means something went astray.

Recognition

Partners and supporters.

We name partners only once they have said yes in writing.

Plenty of nonprofit websites open with a row of logos. Some of those relationships are real and some are a meeting that went well. As organizations formally partner with or sponsor this work and give us permission to say so, they will be named here.

Or simply give.

If the most useful thing you have is money rather than time, that is genuinely fine. It is what lets us say yes quickly when a partner organization calls.

  • Give once, or monthly
  • Sponsor an initiative in your own community
  • Partner with us as a school, church, or organization
  • Offer in-kind or professional support
  • Introduce us to people doing good work with young people
