This site targets WCAG 2.2 level AA. That is a standard, not a finish line, so this page also lists what we know is not perfect.
Our commitment
Level Up Foundation wants this website to work for everyone, including people using a screen reader, a keyboard on its own, magnification, or a small phone screen.
We have built toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we have built in
Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure on every page.
A visible skip link, visible focus outlines, and full keyboard operation, including the mobile menu and every form.
Text contrast checked against WCAG AA, tap targets at least 44 pixels, and text that reflows without horizontal scrolling down to a 320 pixel wide screen.
Descriptive alternative text on images, and form controls with real labels, clear error messages linked to their fields, and status messages announced to assistive technology.
Every form works without JavaScript. If scripts fail to load, the page still submits.
Motion that respects the reduced motion setting in your operating system. With that setting on, animations and the scrolling text band stop.
Known limitations
Some sections of this website are intentionally empty while the organization is young, including community voices, the recognition wall, and the resource library. They are marked as such rather than filled with placeholder content.
If you find something that does not work for you, we want to know. That is the fastest way for us to fix it.
